Multiple Pets
Having multiple pets would be nice, I don't mean at the same time, which I saw in another thread.
but I mean like a pet storage.. pets are already hardly used especially later on.
because either people lack the skill to play with them, or just have better luck trying to do other things.
at let have the people who use pets have the ability to change them at will.
I found it annoying that in Pre-searing I charmed a Wolf and it got to lvl 8, and in Post searing the ranger quest requiered a Lynx, that just put me off..
if there would be a way to store my Wolf at a tamer or something, so I can use a lynx for a while, would keep more versatility aswel.
And another suggestion, more difference between pets, some skill differences for example.

Pet's learn the skills
It almost seems like if you level build up the wolf or the lynx they almost seem the same attack wise. Maybe, having pets be able to learn and unlock skills on their own would be nice. I know rangers have some pet skill options, put leaving it up to the pets to use would be better...I think anyway.

It'd be nice, but I think the reason you can only have one pet at a time (without a storage) is because Charm Animal is supposed to form an intimate bond between the ranger and ONE specific animal. The ranger is too in tune with nature to ***** him/herself out to multiple pets.

So it's kind of like saying it's never a good idea to have more than one BF/GF because someone's likely to get jealous?

charm-animal should be like signet-of-capture. when you charm a lynx, the charm changes to store the info of the lynx you captured. you can then have several charm-animals that represent several pets.
of course, then charm-animal should be sold like signet-of-capture, and you should only be allowed to bring one into battle.

I like Anomalo's suggestion a lot.
And yeah pets should maybe have skills of their type
as in wolf has certain wolf skills
lynx has certain lynx skills.
that'd be ace and create some diversity between pets aswel.
